My name is Sjoerd van Ierland, and within Neskrid I focus on Data, IT, and AI. With a background in Industrial Engineering and Management, I work on a wide range of issues related to data, automation, and process improvement. Examples include improving and integrating systems, increasing the transparency of information, and automating tasks that are still performed manually.

What I find interesting is first understanding how a process works in practice, and then exploring how it can be done smarter. In doing so, I don't just work at my desk, I'm also regularly involved in projects related to production, supply chain, and e-commerce. It's precisely this variety that means I continually encounter new challenges and get to know many different sides of the organisation.

Outside of work, I continue to develop myself in the field of data and technology. After completing my degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, I am pursuing a Pre-Master's in Data Science to further deepen my knowledge of data analysis and AI.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active. For instance, I regularly go to the gym, I run, and you can sometimes find me on the padel court. I also like meeting up with friends to do fun things together or enjoy a drink.
