Allowed from now on: The AFO

Neskrid has been your specialist in (orthopaedic) footwear solutions for a hundred years. Our goal is to enable safe and healthy movement for everyone, both in work situations and leisure activities.

We frequently received signals that there was a need to wear our certificated work and safety footwear in combination with an Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO). We have had this combination extensively tested in the past period to ensure that the CE-mark and all safety requirements are guaranteed, With positive result!

From now on, all AFOs are allowed to be placed in Neskrid footwear!

So good news for all hard workers with an AFO; from now on, they can be assisted as required and get to work safely!

Conditions AFO

1. The AFO should be finished as a insole with a Neskrid cover,

2. The AFO must have a length of  3 / 4th or 4 / 4th, equipped with a Neskrid cover and finished according to the accompanying instruction protocol (for length 4 / 4th: pay attention to the position of the holes under the forefoot in the safety zone!)

At the moment we cannot yet certify an AFO + insole together as one product in PPE footwear. You must therefore finish both of these two products with a cover (please make sure that, combined, they do not exceed the maximum thickness under the safety toe cap).

Fortunately, trends and developments in orthopaedic aids are in full swing. This is positive for the end-user, as every innovation contributes to greater comfort, support and freedom of movement. Neskrid works with specialists across Europe on the development and improvement of orthopaedic footwear solutions.

Special thanks to Livit for their cooperation and collaboration during our Research and Development process!
